I loved how this old scarf and new-to-me blazer looked together so I kept myself swathed all day, but I think it was about 70 degrees. Our little bungalow is frustratingly dark on the inside, which is why we do outfit photos outside even in the dead of winter. But on a recent rainy/sleet-y day HM and I stopped by the optometrist and noticed this fantastically well-lit hallway. I was thrilled to avoid battling the weather for a decent shot. read more

This is the outfit I reach for when it’s cold outside, I have 10 minutes to get dressed, and I want to look casual but pulled-together. I’ve worn it so many times that I had to replace the old striped Target tunic I’d been using for the past two years because the black stripes had started to fade into the white ones, giving the garment a gray and grungy cast. This new garment is called a dress, but it’s definitely more of a tunic on me! Paired with my metallic sheen leggings and foolproof printed scarf, it’s a longtime standby. read more
