Those trees are still adamantly green and it’s nearly October. Admittedly, this outfit is from a couple of weeks ago, but it looks more or less like this outside my window this morning. I’m pretty sure this thrifted dress hails from the 80s. You can’t see its best features – sweetheart neckline and cross-back straps – but every time I pull it on I feel like I should have a walk-on in “Heathers.” Teamed with my trusty denim jacket and cowboy boots it’s still a little retro, but modern enough for my taste. read more
