I nabbed this dress on eBay late last fall, but this is its first outing. I love the look of all-white ensembles, but chose to add some bold brights to this particular outfit. The simple cut of the dress makes a great platform for the quirky jacket and bright accessories. With pops of color and a popped collar, this is a pretty darned poppy look!

The white dress look so cool and chic for this hot summer. I love the red/blue/yellow accents. Still very classic and sharp.

I love this outfit on you! The only thing that would make it even better is a slightly longer skirt length which would be the perfect proportion for you.

    Congratulations on your book!

Oh Sally I love this look on you! Yellow is my favorite color and it looks great on you! Lovely blazer!

It looks fabulous but can you really wear a white dress all day, without disasters? I’d be worrying all the time about where I sat, and even without mishap would expect to look pretty grubby by the day’s end. A white t-shirt I can do, although even then have to watch my diet – certainly no spaghetti with tomato sauce – but a whole dress? Far too dangerous. I think the accessorising is brilliant though – takes you out of nurse/ tennis player territory.

This is such a great look! Love the cut of the dress, it’s very flattering and classic, and that jacket is fantastic! Such a fun piece to pair with any pants or jeans, too!
