I swore to myself that I was done with tights for the season. And I’d been eyeing this dress for weeks, telling myself it was just too dark for springtime wear. And when it was cold and windy on Saturday, I thought, “Awww, screw it,” and wore tights and dress together. Thankfully, the Fashion Police were on break for most of the day.

I love it!! The print is so cool!!
It’s colder here now then it was March 1st so spring stuff isn’t coming out yet!

I *love* this! With red tights & grey boots, I think it’s perfect for transitional seasonal wear. Not too dark at all!

Don’t know why you were worried; the dress looks GREAT with the tights…the colour matches PERFECTLY. And hey, if the weather feels free to “backpedal”, then so can YOU. But could that BAG be any larger? If it got REALLY cold, you could use it as a portable shelter!

wow, you look fab! Glad you threw fashion caution to the wind because this is a stunning spring outfit!

  5. Laura

That’d also look spectacular with blue tights the same shade as the cat’s bottoms.

Pish posh Sally! I think the tights look great and this dress deserved to be worn! It is too cute! You look great!

Not too dark for spring at all. But too short I think for bare legs. And I know you are a champion of untanned legs but … I have v white legs too, quite accepting, but I try not to wear strong dark colours against them. My skirts in general are longer than yours – definitely nothing abovethe knee, but a skirt that I would find acceptable in winter is definitely too short in summer, and I suspect the same applies to most of us whatever the skirt length ‘datum’ we are starting from.

I know, I swore off the tights too so I’ve just been wearing pants lately. The trippy print on that dress is awesome and I love that you have perfectly matching tights!

Last month I was in bare legs and t-shirts! Now it’s back to tights weather here in Eastern Ontario – I am wearing them today, but not as well as you!

Diggin’ the tights but also the colorful border pattern on the tunic, and I think it’s very springy!

You look fantastic! Rust tights and cat print and geometric necklace and gray boots and plummy bag – all of it, well done.
