Daily Outfit: 12/13/11

Already Pretty outfit featuring blue bolero, plaid shirt dress, charcoal tights, John Fluevog Heidi boots

Sweater bolero, Anthropologie (no longer available) – similar shape
Plaid shirt dress, Land’s End Canvas  (no longer available) – similar
Charcoal tights, Banana Republic
Boots, John Fluevog Heidi
Earrings, gift – similar

I’ve worn this bolero sweater many times, always buttoned up, and I’ve been curious about other options. Unbuttoned and left alone it looks floppy and bizarre, but today I tried pinning the flaps down and I’m digging the look. Gives the sweater a fun little asymmetric, slightly military flair.

Have you noticed the lack of snow? It’s been in the 40s for the past few days, bizarre for this time of year but a welcome respite. I’m sneaking in a few lightweight layers while I still can.

ooooh… I still have my version of this same bolero, and three years later you’re still giving me ideas for it! just picked up my first package of fashion tape too… thanks to your advice. might have to see what I can come up with 🙂 And that dress… it’s been one of my favorites of yours for awhile. looking fresh and fabulous!

Love those colours on you and that bolero – I’d snap that up and wear it a lot, I think!

I think this outfit is perfection. The proportions on you are gorgeous. Yay for short skirts with tights in winter!

Ooh I really love the bolero! If you hadn’t told me, I wouldn’t have known that it wasn’t meant to be worn that way. Nice outfit 🙂

Love it, for some reason this season, I’ve gone for blue, which normally doesn’t suit me. I’ve also gone a little nutty for plaid. Your outfit looks great
