This Week I Love …

… the new Kork-Ease offerings.

As a platform shoe devotee, how could I not love the Kork-Ease brand? My only pair was nabbed off of eBay, but they are my go-to summer art fair shoes. I can wear those red patent platforms for six-plus hours of walking without feeling it, and with the spring designs looking THIS good, I might have to snap up a second pair.

Liliana, $144
Elinor, $139

Conchita, $148

Joana, $144

Gabriella, $145

Plus, now they’ve got BOOTS!

Alva, $229

Avis, $199

Anyone else own/love Kork-Ease? Which style shown here is your favorite? Who remembers this brand from back in the day?

Heh..I'm afraid Korkease and 'back in the day' extends back to the 1970s to me. Wow – these designs are fantastic.

Love them, love them, wore a pair to my 8th grade graduation in 1974! (Zappos' outlet store) has a bunch of Kork-Ease styles on sale for half off.

Thanks Sal, for reminding me of these great shoes!

Those black boots say "SAL!" They're great! I love your beige wedges, too. They're such an elongating color.

I've never tried Kork-Ease, and I'm thinking I might now! Sold!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Kork Ease Sandals! I have a pretty gold pair that has the wedge wrapped in some fabric with embroidered flowers. They are lovely. Yep, I agree sweet Sal, I could wear mine all day too!

I'm completely MAD about the black boots. They are to die for. I should be looking at sandals this time of year but no, I'm obsessed with trying to find the perfect pair of black knee-high boots. Figures.

OMG the conchita pair are just so adorable! I love all of these, aside from the fact that my girl's face will be at my boob level if I ever were to wear them. Not that that's always a bad thing, but makes for awkward hand holding ๐Ÿ™‚

Beautiful. All of them. A wee bit out of my budget but I may have to pop by a local retailer to give them a spin.
