I would love to see a blog post about dressing in the summer without a tan. I think you do a great job for yourself! It would be nice to see some ‘rules’ for looking great with pale skin when everyone else is wearing styles and colors that complement tanned skin so well. Top of the list in my experience is to avoid khaki bottoms or any color that blends with pale skin rather than contrasts. I’m sure you have more ideas! READ MORE

Tricks for working with extremely pale skin. I’m very, VERY fair – to the point where, when I go without makeup, total strangers ask if I’m not feeling well. I’ve adopted the strategy of playing up my paleness rather than hiding it, but would always be happy for more tips about that.

That means I’ve been using it since October, which I feel is ample time to gauge efficacy. And I’m giving it the thumbs up.

I’ve had keratosis pilaris on my arms since grade school, and both GPs and dermatologists have told me there’s no real cure or treatment.
