Insomniac Sale Picks: White Work-appropriate Tops

*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*

Jennifer requested a few picks for white work-appropriate tops, so here we go:

Carigan Wrap Poplin Blouse – was $79.50, now $59.99

Jennifer said that button-front shirts were good options, and I’m intrigued by this new twist on an old favorite. Sometimes even fitted button-front shirts don’t fit to your curves quite right, and wrap version could be a great solution. Available in sizes XS – XL.

Flutter Sleeve Faux Wrap Top – was $45, now $29.99
PLUS an additional 20% off if you use code BRSALE20 before midnight 6/27

Flutter sleeves are a great option for those who hate constricting short and cap sleeves, and faux wrap detailing is a great way to show curves without actual tightness. Available in sizes XS – XL.

Red Dot Women’s Swing Top – was $60, now $54

Here’s a super simple option in a comfy cotton-modal blend. The scoop neck flatters many face shapes, and flared hem makes room for hips and adds some swingy movement. Add a long necklace or kicky scarf to polish off the look! Available in sizes S – L.

Jessie G. Ariel Sheer Yoke Short Sleeve Silk Shirt – was $128, now $65

Here’s the almost-pick of the night – cream instead of white, and described as “sheer.” But my impression from the photos is that the trim is sheer and body opaque, it’s 100% silk, and I just love the chic, pared-down design. Available in sizes 4 – 14.

Other not-currently-on-sale resources for white work-appropriate tops:

  1. Nordstrom – A great choice for workwear of all types, but especially white button-front shirts and blouses.
  2. Karen Kane – They’ve got quite a few “cold shoulder” tops right now, but plenty of other work-appropriate choices. Karen Kane almost always offers both white and black in any basic style they produce, and the quality is top-notch.
  3. Anthropologie – At least during the summer months, Anthro is lousy with interesting, eye-catching white tops.
