*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
Maria requested a few picks for comfortable burgundy pumps, so here we go:
Earthies Talera – was $169, now $69.99
If I didn’t already have a pair of burgundy pumps, I’d snap these up in a heartbeat! That chunky, slightly wedge-shaped heel hits me right where I live. Earthies is an offshoot of Earth, so a brand that knows a little something about comfort. Available in US sizes 5 – 10.
Rockport Ordella Knot Pump – was $110, now $69.99
A slightly lower heel and a slightly darker burgundy from the comfort experts at Rockport. These are called a “knot pump,” but that detailing at the toe is more of an artful, origami-reminiscent fold. Very stylish. Available in US sizes 5 – 11. (Sold out in 7.5)
Cole Haan Chelsea Pump – was $298, now $164.99
I’ve tried on and been sorely tempted by this very pump many, many times. Cole Haan utilizes Nike Air technology in this line, so although these shoes aren’t as comfy as sneakers, they are AMAZINGLY comfy. Also well-made and utterly gorgeous. Available in US sizes 5.5 – 10.5. (Sold out in 7.5.) Also comes in a lower heel version, but mostly smaller sizes are left – good news for the small-of-foot!
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for comfortable burgundy pumps:
- Amazon – I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: Always check Amazon when shopping for shoes! 261 options, many of them by comfort brands like Geox, Clarks, and Softspots.
- Tsubo – Tsubo currently has the Acrea and Dufay in burgundy, but keep your eyes peeled in fall for more options.
- Naturalizer – Always a go-to for comfortable pumps, with more than a dozen classic styles in dark red.
