And I’m wearing them after Labor Day. Because, the fact of the matter is that summers in Oregon tend to be warm. Too warm, for me, for jeans. Also, I have Sweaty Leg Syndrome (aka SLS, please give at the office) and as a result my legs cannot STAND to be encased in denim, of any wash, during the summer months. Really, the only time I can wear jeans is after Labor Day, otherwise my legs suffer terribly.
Back in the day, I would have been hounded out of town for this look. Happily, times have changed; women now have the vote and you can wear white any ol’ time you want (except at someone else’s wedding, of course – we’re not heathens). Thank goodness for progress.
