What? What’s that? Snow? I don’t know what you’re talking about. We didn’t get a foot of snow here in Minneapolis.

OK, fine, we did. But I’ve got a few outfits from the pre-storm days to share first! (See photos of me just before yesterday’s second round of shoveling over on Facebook.)

This skirt is so vibrant and busy that I think it works best against a stark, black backdrop. Most other choices would feel overwhelming, but I love how it looks against the dark tights and top and paired with pops of red. Those suede pumps might not get any love again until spring, if the snow sticks around!

I’m a long-time lurker on your blog, but usually reading for general principles of how to put together a coherent style rather than finding specific looks I’d want to copy. But this–wow. I would totally wear exactly that. Every day. For a while, anyway.

Okay, I give in. Having said how much I hate Desigual, this looks great. I think it’s because there isn’t too much of it – just a short skirt. It’s with black. and it doesn’t have those horrid droopy hems and floppy bits Desigual goes in for. So, congrats on looking fabulous, even though I’m still not really a Desigual fan.

I just wanted to let you know I splurged and bought a pair of Tsubo Dufays in Merlot. The lady in the store asked how I learned about them and I mentioned your blog! I’ve been lusting after these after I first saw some of your entries with the shoes. Conservative meets funky meets comfort. Just what I like in a shoe! Thanks!
