Holy cats, today was busy. I made a point of coming home to change clothes after my morning haircut so I wouldn’t be itching to death all day, but barely had time to throw this on and dash out the door. Much less come home between appointments.

Good thing I remembered my pettipants – I tell you, friends, despite today’s stiff breeze I felt remarkably secure.

HM told me to pop my collar for one of the photos. Because he is a smart, smart man. I can’t seem to do popped collars in real life, but they look so marvelously dramatic in photos.

Off now to this very cool pop-up art gallery!

Ooh, looking very polished, Sally! Love the contrast between the polishedness of the floral shift and the blazer vs. the Frye boots! I like to do that myself! In fact, I think a movement should be started in which all posh clothing is accessorized with rugged boots, haha :p

Hello! New to the blog and loving it so far.
I just had to comment because your outfit includes some of my greatest (fashion) loves. The camel colored blazer looks amazing from the pictures and is perfect for fall along with those boots that I want so badly. And I can’t seem to get away from floral above-the-knee dresses. Love how you’ve made it work for fall, although it still seems very much like summer here in Georgia.
    Keep those great posts coming!

This must be a high end jacket. The under side of the collar is made from the same material as the rest of the jacket, cheaper ones usually have felt ironed on.
Feeling a bit like Sherlock right now đŸ˜‰

See, I have a similar(ish) blazer that I’ve been trying to figure out how to throw into the rotation — looks like a floral dress would do the trick! Thanks!

I love the camel blazer with this floral dress! And the boots are great. Your hubbie is a smart, smart man. The popped collar is fabulous!

It is shivery cold in Wisconsin and my body temps haven’t acclimated yet so I’m dreading the idea of trying to dress for fall. But then you swoop in and save the day with a fabulous fall outfit! Thanks Sal! (Now I just have to scrounge all those pieces up… :D)
