We had a marvelous time up north, but I’m thrilled to be back home. I’m such a homebody, friends, I swear. I love to travel, but if I want to RELAX? It’s gotta be at home.

We got back around 3 p.m. today and have been madly putting the house to rights ever since. Laundry to do, cats to cuddle, stuff to put away …

And on the flip side of all that, we’re thinking we might attempt to extend the vacation by heading to a movie tonight. It’s great to be home, but rough easing back into reality.

What year does a garment have to be made in to be considered vintage? Are there rules like for classic cars? 🙂

I have not been to Opitz in a hundred years. Seems I should make a trip as you find some great stuff there. Is it still in St. Louis Park?

    • Anneesha

Opitz is great, and yes, still in St. Louis Park on Excelsior (near the Trader Joe’s!)

  • I know exactly what you mean! I loveloveLOVE traveling, but there’s nothing that can beat snuggling home in your comfiest pair of pj’s (the ones you don’t bring with you when you travel because they’re so old ‘n ratty, haha)!

  • I find traveling to be relaxing, but I am a bit of a weirdo. I’m glad that you had fun Up North.

  • Ok, that’s somewhat bizarre. I have tomorrow’s outfit sitting on my dressed, and it’s exactly those colours. You’ve managed to inspire me before actually posting an outfit!
I really love your tank, the pattern is so wonderfully loud but not overwhelming.

Oh, I just adore what you’ve done with the colors here. You have such a great ability to go bold with the color.

  • Lovely casual look….great for running earrands!!

  • I love that tank/cardigan combo!

  • I’m totally a homebody, too. Few places make me feel as relaxed and secure as my own space.

And also, LOVE this outfit. Great colors, and great shoes!

  • Another wonderful color combo! I LOVE the print on your top.

  • I loooooooove that color combination! *__* I may have to hunt down something similar sometime…

Such pretty colors!! And they look specially good with that pretty haircut!

  • I love the nail polish in combination with olive green leather straps 🙂

  • Dee

    Great colour combo!

Love the tank, such pretty colours. I’m with you on the relaxing at home thing, I love to travel too, but home is where it’s at to really mellow out.

  • Anneesha

Love the picture – the hosta blooming behind you sets it off! I find a lot of color inspiration from my garden’s random color combinations. Unfortunately tonight in Mpls we have FREEZE warnings so hopefully it’s not the end of colors.

  • Your tatoos are always very pretty, but there is just something about todays outfit, don’t know if it’s the colors in the shirt or the cropped lenght of the jeans, but it totally makes me what to run out and get a leg tatoo.
    Just sayin 🙂
