I only packed one pair of boots for this trip to see my parents, which is why you’ve seen them three days in a row. Expect to see them tomorrow, too.

I recommended these pants in an Insomniac Sale Picks post last week, and loved them so much I ordered a pair for myself. Jenny expressed concern that they might highlight the hip/thigh area, and although those flap pockets do attract attention, the stitched ovals are far less noticeable in person than in the product shot. Of course, all this is obscured by my sweater dress, but someday you’ll see. Promise

As a bonus, these pants make me feel like Han Solo. Even covered up by a dress. And that’s awesome.

    Love the cardi/dress!

As a teen I thought I loved Luky Skywalker the most, but as a mother in her 30’s, I now see the fabulous appeal of the rogue-ish Han Solo. Grrrrrr. Thanks for the reminder!

Hi…when I click on the link for the Frye boots it takes me to the color Dark Brown Calf Shine Vintage. Are those the ones you’re wearing? Thanks for responding.

Nope – it’s a rectangular scarf hung from a corner (as in the tutorial), wrapped twice, and tied in a tiny knot using two corners. The other two corners are tucked into the loop.
