You know the saying, “Everything is relative”? It always surprises me to discover that this adage applies to colors. I think of these ponte pants as burgundy, maybe maroon. But paired with this dark purple tunic and orchid purple cardigan, they look far purpler than usual. Is purpler a word? If not, it totally should be.
I’ve been consigning like a madwoman over the past month or so, attempting to weed out my closet and get a bit more organized. It’s a very satisfying process indeed. The only risk is that, while I’m waiting to see which items the store will take for consignment, I have to kill time poking around the racks. Still getting rid of much more than I’m bringing home, but, well, this cardigan was just too lovely to pass up.
