Casual Outfit Roundup: Week of December 4

Already Pretty outfit featuring waterfall cardigan, skull print shirt, Diesel boots

Boots, Diesel Go-go (no longer available) – similar – more Diesel boots

We had a frigid weekend last week, and I bundled for much of the weekend. This long-sleeved tee is actually a burnout style, so I layered a tank top beneath it for warmth and modesty.

Already Pretty outfit featuring Prairie Underground long cloak hoodie, Free People floral tunic, M Missoni pants, Diesel boots

Hoodie, Prairie Underground Long Cloak Hoodie
Floral Tunic, Free People (no longer available) – similar print
Pants, M. Missoni via Opitz – similar
Boots, Diesel Go-go (no longer available) – similar – more Diesel boots
Earrings, Swirly Keen courtesy April Kawaoka

This tunic has a really low neckline, but I wasn’t willing to add a scarf or underlayer since there was already SO much going on up around my collarbone! On an unrelated note, I’m so pleased that these skinny pants are in the same color family as my favorite tan boots – makes for a nice, long leg line.

Love them both! It seems like as you’ve moved towards wearing pants more, you might have less of the “what color will my legs be today” tights quandary.

    I dig the skull t-shirt.

Do you think that you might move away from this feature as it seems like your outfits are more casual in general now that you are self-employeed/freelancing?

We’ll see. This roundup also enables me to show weekend outfits a week late so I can take time off on the weekends, so I might just change the name.

I love how both of these outfits are different takes on the same idea, yet have such different overall looks. Each of which is great! The cardigan up top is a GORGEOUS color on you, and I really dig it paired with b&w… and I love the peak of print in the second outfit. Gorgeous as usual my dear!

LOVING the winter purples, especially the dusty purple with the tan in the last photo; tans, muted roses and mauves and greys are speaking to me lately in a big way!

And oh, I know you’ll have it so very much longer than I’d ever want to live with it, but I wish we had some of your pretty, pretty snow here in Seattle! After last year (when we saw quite a lot of the white stuff – well, by local standards, anyway), it’s hard to get into the holiday spirit without a little bit of a blizard! =)
