Sally McGraw is a Minneapolis-based freelance writer, blogger, and personal stylist. She earned a creative writing degree from Binghamton University in 1998 and, after graduation, worked in the book and magazine publishing industry for 10 years. She has contributed writing to local newspapers, magazines, and websites throughout her entire professional life, and is an ongoing contributor to the Minneapolis Star Tribune and The Huffington Post.
In addition to writing her popular daily style and body image blog Already Pretty, she has published a style guide titled Already Pretty: Learning to Love Your Body by Learning to Dress it Well which is available via CreateSpace and ships worldwide. She has also contributed to The Frisky, TypeF, and Glamour and guest posted everywhere from the revered fashion blog The Coveted to the wildly popular style advice blog You Look Fab.
Already Pretty has been covered by Lucky, Glamour, Redbook, More Magazine, and MTV Voices. Locally, Sally is a weekly guest on the Fox 9 Morning Show, co-hosting a fashion-focused segment titled Trendy or Timeless. She has appeared on Twin Cities Live, has been interviewed on the popular talk radio program the Lori & Julia Show, and was featured in Minnesota Monthly and the Star Tribune. She has given guest lectures at the University of Minnesota and St. Catherine University, teaches community education classes, and gives presentations on style and body image at private companies.
