I am most certainly NOT looking forward to a long, cold winter … but our marvelously warm autumn is making me hanker for true scarf weather. I loved how this old scarf and new-to-me blazer looked together so I kept myself swathed all day, but I think it was about 70 degrees. Sometimes the weather and the season just refuse to agree!

This Neon Buddha tunic/jacket is basically an instant outfit. Comfy but interesting, breathable, washable, simple. It’s become a go-to for me on days when I’m in a rush and need something guaranteed to work. SO helpful to have a few pieces like that in your wardrobe!

Here’s a great example of being over-prepared: Having lived through countless Minnesota winters that involved long stretches of sub-zero temperatures, and being a person who is naturally SUPER cold, I finally sprung for some truly massive sweaters to wear when this one was at the cleaners. The one you see here has been on my wishlist for at least three years, and was ordered direct from a lovely woman named Helga who told me that since it was out of stock, they’d have to knit one up special for me. Totally worth the investment and the month-long wait. ALTHOUGH this blissfully abbreviated winter meant I only wore it once.
