Insomniac Sale Picks: Patterned Coats

*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*

Krysta requested a few picks for patterned coats, so here we go:

Jack by BB Dakota Annie Ombre Stripe Coat – was $89, now $34.97

Most coats are on deep discount right now, but sizing is spotty, so many of these picks are available in limited size runs. This subtly striped option features a rich mix of neutrals and colors, as well as oversized notched lapels and a wide belt. Although this coat is mainly polyester and acrylic, it’s still lined which means it’ll do for spring, fall, and mild winter weather. Available in sizes XS – M

Nic+Zoe Pucker Jacquard Coat – was $182, now $113.99

I’m not totally thrilled with that wide black band at the hem, but aside from that this is one if the cutest, most versatile, and definitely most affordable jacquard coats I’ve seen this season. It’s mostly cotton, but lined so should work best in spring and fall. (Spring is coming! It is!) Available in sizes XS – L. Also available in plus sizes.

ASOS Coat in Leopard with Button Front – was $122.78, now $36.83

Another amazing late-winter bargain! This coat is a relatively flat faux fur and also lined, so will work for slightly colder temps. Definitely a looser, oversized fit with room around the waistline. Available in sizes 2 – 14. (ASOS has lots of other leopard print coats on sale if this style doesn’t send you.)

Other not-currently-on-sale resources for patterned coats:

  1. Boden – Not much now, but check back as the spring line rolls out. This striped lightweight coat is fabulous.
  2. Modcloth – Dots, stripes, and plaid galore. Love this empire-waist lace coat.
  3. Ann Taylor – See especially this lovely jacquard topper.
  4. And, of course, THRIFT STORES! It’ll be hit or miss, for sure, but considering how expensive coats can get it’s worth a look. (thethriftshopper.com can help you locate stores near you.)
