Insomniac Sale Picks: Sheath Dresses with Sleeves

*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*

Dara requested a few picks for sheath dresses with sleeves, so here we go:

AB Studio Solid Sheath Dress – was $48, now $33.60

It’s basic, but sometimes basic is good! This knit sheath features a high, modest neckline that will allow for bold accessorization with scarves or necklaces, and 3/4 sleeves for wintry warmth. Available in sizes S – XL in this magenta/purple, black, teal, and cobalt. Size availability varies by color.

Suzi Chin for Maggy Boutique Belted Dolman Sleeve Sheath – was $118, now $70.80

The draped neckline on this option adds interest, and the removable belt creates balance. Add a stack of funky bracelets for more polish. This dress is also a knit and is unlined. Available in red, dusty blue, and mushroom brown in sizes 2 – 16. Also available in petite sizes.

Anne Klein Three-Quarter-Sleeve Sheath – was $139, now $118.15
with code ELECT

This knee-length sheath has an asymmetric pleated neckline, removable belt, and subtly heathered print. Such a chic, sleek option and it would look amazing with a pair of dark patterned tights. This option is lined. Available in sizes 2 – 16, sold out in size 8.

Other not-currently-on-sale resources for sheath dresses with sleeves:

  1. Nordstrom – Many options are body-con or evening-appropriate, but with 147 total options a few are less fancy and clingy! Love this watercolor-y one.
  2. Macy’s – Hurrah! Ten pages of long-sleeved dresses! This printed Cynthia Rowley sheath is fantastic.
  3. Karen Kane – Plenty of shifts and a-lines mixed in, but Karen Kane has a great selection of long-sleeved dresses for fall and winter, including fun sheaths.

“Sometimes simple is good” — indeed! I really love neck detailing, but right now I’m into the “collar peeking out” look, and frustrated because it will not work with my more detailed dresses. Something to think about next time I buy a dress!

Hey! This is kinda what I needed! I love that solid sheath…I just wish I was home to order it!

The Suzy Chin dress was available in eggplant for about $40 at my local Nordstrom Rack not long ago! It’s super comfy, and since it’s unlined and stretchy you can wear it as bump-enhancing maternity wear too (for the very few who care- just an FYI).

Thank you thank you thank you! Exactly what I needed.
