Dressed for: Warmth Now Past

Already Pretty outfit featuring mustard cardigan, teal dress, hobo bag, cognac Tsubo Dufay pumps, Alivia May necklace, pearl stretch bracelets

Cardigan, JC Penney (no longer available) - similar
Dress - Gabriella Rocha Edithe via 6pm
Necklace, courtesy Alivia May
Bracelets, thrifted and courtesy Silver Speck
Earrings, gift – similar
Burgundy pumps - Tsubo Dufay
Bag- Banana Republic (no longer available) - similar features

It’s absolutely FREEZING today, but we had several unseasonably warm days last week and a few outfits are gonna linger from that time. I heard it’s supposed to warm up again by the weekend, but can’t imagine I’ll be doing bare legs again anytime soon.

I wore this to shadow ARC’s Value Village Personal Shopper Michelle Dustin. While we were working together I wore my flat cognac boots – see that iteration here – but was so overheated by the time I got home, I swapped the boots for my burgundy pumps. Would never have expected THAT to happen in November.

As soon as I saw your ensemble I guessed Banana for the bag; love their purses! And you look great in those colors!

Interesting color-combination. And the necklace is exceptional.

I LOVE this outfit! As a fellow lover of color and fun color combinations, I enjoy seeing your inspired pairings. Cool necklace, too!

If it’s any consolation to you, it’s no longer warm here in San Diego, either. Just a week ago, I was in tank tops and skirts. Now it’s time for long-sleeves and coats. I am determined to wear more skirts this winter, though, so I’ll be looking for some fabulous boots and tights like the ones you sport here regularly. I would love a post on boots sometime soon (although I’m sure you’ve done boot posts in the past). How about a “insomniac” post on tall flat boots in non-traditional colors? That would be fun!

OMG, a thrift store personal shopper?! What a great job! I’m totally jealous of Michelle, and of you for getting to shadow her! Will you share some of your experiences here, please?

I’m not sure about this one Sal. It’s a brave color combination and I adore turquoise but the fabric of the dress looks too light weight to go with that cardigan or the shoes. I’m thinking a nice jewelled sandal would be a better choice. Also the neckline and the necklace look way too busy together.
Nice bag though, shame it’s no longer available!

I am travelling in Vietnam right now and I just saw this colour combination on a government official. It looked amazing! So glad you put these colours together and I can’t wait to try it myself!

I’m a big fan of “alternate primaries” – combinations of variations on red/yellow/blue – I loved when you did it with the long dress, and it’s great here too.

I love these two colors together!! I’m a huge fan of that mustard color but I shy away from blues, preferring to wear earth tones. Yet, you have given me the courage to be a little more bold with my mustards. Now, I just have to go out and find something that color of blue, heh.
