Bracelet - J.Crew via eBay
Earrings, Patina - similar

I wore this to be a guest judge at the Express Yourself Thrift Store Trunk Show last Friday night. (Check out the Express Yourself mission!) Design students from St. Kate’s choose items from the store and repurpose them, the designs are entered in a contest, and all designs are for sale. It was such fun to see how the designers used their materials and creativity to create entirely new looks.

I must say, though, that I was on my feet for two hours and was cursing my shoe choice by evening’s end!

Lots of photos were taken, so keep an eye on the Express Yourself Facebook page if you’d like a peek at the student’s designs.

Sorry your feet hurt (that is the worst) but you look great. And those boots are fabulous!

Ooooo Sally!! I LOVE this on you!! The red blazer is just fantastic, and so high-fashion feeling with the black and white. Great choice!

I love how the long scarf and the sexy boots create such a lovely long line. Which is awesome until your feet let you know they’re not on Team Heels :/

Adore the red blazer. Sorry about the feet – been there, done it, and will likely do it again : >

I think you have such great style.I was wondering how you managed to change your look so much?Just your simple change of hair style makes you look like a whole new person.I have LOVED almost all of your outfits except the skulls. The fit is great just not a skull person.I am so happy I googled how to dress classy and your site popped up.

Beautiful detailing on the blazer, great power-colour over column-of-colour, and cool bracelet too. Poor feets!
