Dressed for: Critters

Already Pretty outfit featuring olive waterfall cardigan, cat print scarf, Ellington Handbags hobo, Frye Veronica Slouch boots

Cardigan, thrifted – similar
Tee – Gap
Navy ponte pants – J.Crew Pixie
Boots – Frye Veronica Slouch
Bag, courtesy Ellington Handbags
Cat-print scarf, Topshop (no longer available) – similar
Earrings, thrifted – similar
Fox ring – Michael Tatom

This outfit seemed to have a mind of its own. Once I had the navy and olive color scheme going, I decided to throw on my beloved cat-print scarf. And hey, if I was gonna wear cats, I might as well pile on the critters, so I swapped in my silver sculpted fox ring.

Are you a fan of animal prints, themes, or other wearables? What have you got in your collection?

I think I am sold on getting a pair of those ponte pants. Just curious, do they fit you true to size? Thanks!

Aw, cats rule. I love this scarf, and the Topshop page was discontinued — but I did find this adorable scarf on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/listing/105522989.
The boots, of course, need no introduction : >

Just when I satisfied my long-standing desire for a tulle skirt, you’ve now inspired an even more intense desire for a cat-print scarf. I adore it. I thrifted a fox ring this summer, and I’d love to find an affordable animal print blouse suitable for the office.

Love that scarf.

I haven’t seen you wear your Fleuvog Adriana Lunas yet this season…please tell me you haven’t done away with them?? (I promise I’m not stalking all of your shoes, btw, just that pair because I love them and cannot afford my own.)

Such a cute printed scarf! I like prints if they’re particularly unique and easy to wear. Anything too twee or over the top I tend to not go for myself, but I do like cute prints.

Just looked up the maker of the fox ring – gorgeous things! Whimsical yet elegant.

I love this outfit! The colour pallete is muted yet striking. I am coveting the beautiful olive sweater

Oh, yes – I love wearing critters. Mostly jewelry for me – cat ring, a couple of snake rings, butterfly ring, snake necklace, and a lot of pins (horses, bees, birds, gheko). Also a really great silver cuff in the shape of an eagle. I did buy a skater dress with little horses on it, but I’ve never worn it and fear that it may be too young for me. Maybe I’ll make a scarf out of it.

I have twin cat rings – one in bronze and the other silver. But that’s all. I’d love to get something wearable that’s Havanese related in honour of my puppy, but I’m afraid I’d look like a crazy dog lady in a knitted sweater or something.

I’m loving the Frye Veronica slouch, but I can’t quite catch which colors… it looks like you have the calf dark brown, the grey, and then also a reddish burgundy- that’s the one I really like- can you id the color from Zappos for me? Thanks- still loving the site!

Hi Lizanne! I got this pair from eBay a couple of years ago, so I’m not certain they’re making this exact color anymore … it’s a cognac brown. On Zappos, I’d say the closest color is Burnt Red Vintage Tumbled Full Grain … but that’s just a guess. Sorry!
