Perhaps copy catting is a bit strong, especially since I’ve adored the red, yellow, black, and white combination for ages. But Wendy’s gorgeous outfit was the inspiration for this ensemble. I don’t have black and white printed pants, so I had to swap in several subs, but I love the results.

fantastic! You look lovely. I’m frantically thinking of anything with a black and white pattern that I have so I may copycopycat! (I AM copycatting as I love yellow and red but never thought of the black-and-white mixed in, usually just black, so, thank you both!)
I love the colors together. Lovely ensemble.
Such a pretty, refined outfit, Sal. I heartily endorse copycatting! I may copy that fabulous rhinestone bracelet – it would be gorgeous for fall outfits.
You seem to wear warm and cool colors equally well. Do you feel you lean one way or the other? I love those yellows and oranges going into fall, but not sure they love me.
Thanks, Kate! I lean more towards cool colors, but love warms ones on occasion, too.
I love both the inspiration and the synthesized outfit. The slouchy cardigan you’ve got on is awesome!
I adore this look – wonderful and fresh combination, both of colors and items (and those shoes, oh how I love those shoes…). And thanks for the tip on Wendy’s blog, that one is new to me but definitely want to explore it.
I actually think the bright red shoes make your green tattoo “POP”.Very Cool.
love this! The bright red and yellow are the perfect complements to the graphic black and white of your dress. What a fun, energizing outfit!
(and I envy you being able to wear that pretty yellow up by your face! I have to stick to chartreuse and deeper hues like saffron – anything in between and I instantly look sallow, boo. I’m still on the hunt for the perfect pair of canary-bright shoes that will let me inject a bit more bright yellow into my life! )
LOVE, love the way you play with color! This is such a great transitional outfit. Great layering options which are perfect for the season. That goldish/yellow is awesome!
You definitely captured the color vibe!
