On days when I’m struggling to assemble anything remotely interesting on my own, I know I can throw on a Desigual dress and feel fun and fresh. It’s been so interesting to hear from European readers that this Spanish brand is ubiquitous to the point of annoyance in many countries! I think it’d take a lot for me to get sick of Desigual. Especially since their designs allow me to borrow a little creativity when my own stores are running low.

Great dress and shoes. I like wearing my Desigual dresses with my Fluevog Guides too. They are a natural combination!

I’m with Megan – Desigual + Fluevog Guides = fabulosity! FYI, the Guide boots are on sale – I just got the grey wool ones. They are sweet!

I agree about the ease of a dress, esp in 90+ degree weather. And this one is so, so pretty.

I love this outfit. My 6 year old daughter enjoys looking at your “Dressed For” posts with me, and today she proclaimed “Wow, she looks like a butterfly!”. Beautiful.

I have seen Desigual clothes in boutiques on various vacations during the last year. They definitely have a very special feel about them. I think I might start checking out Desigual tops and skirts on Ebay for me, a little bit goes a long way. Your dress is especially lovely though.

I too love Desigual but have not been able to justify the department store prices here in the UK. I have a short break in Barcelona in September though and maybe could find a less expensive similar piece from a local store. I have quite a loud personal style, so I think they would work for me.

My daughter and I discovered Desigual while living in Frane on sabbatical in 2006. The wonderful little store was in the local Intermarche in our village of Baziege. During our cien jours en France, she acquired several wonderful pieces both designed and manufactured in Spain, Barcelona if I’m remembering correctly. One terrific pleated skirt opens as she walks to show off a city scape as the pleats open and close.
