I’ve been admiring tone-on-tone ensembles for months now but, as usual, it’s taken me a looooong time to land on a combination for myself. This shirt has just enough purple in its undertones to work with the periwinkle skirt. I added some dashes of magenta and turquoise to break up the blues.

The pleated skirt and flats are giving me a bit of a retro vibe, but the color combination makes it contemporary… a great mix, I think

Fabulous look! I’ve been wanting to do something similar in reds for awhile. It’s just been too hot for layering even light layers.
I like the blue and magenta together!
Love the blues! And the pleats!
This is one of my fave of your outfits. Blue is my favorite color to wear, and I have been searching high and low for an affordable pleated skirt to suit a petite frame. You’ve inspired me to try eBay. At Megan from Megan Mae Daily’s urging, I recently scored a J. Crew skirt via eBay, from someone that had outgrown some clothes. Megan had to teach me how to eBay
