Dressed for: Punchy Pastels

Already Pretty outfit featuring Smythe blazer, Liberty of London for Target dress, Steve Madden sandals, Kate Spade yellow handbag

Blazer, Smythe, thrifted – same cutbudget/similarsimilar color
Dress, Liberty for Target -  a few on eBay
Sandals, Steve Madden (no longer available) - similar
Bag, Kate Spade via eBaysimilar
Bracelet, gift - this is the one
Earrings, Karin Jacobson

This outfit was in the running for Easter wear, but felt a little too fussy so I went with something else. I was delighted to discover that this blazer and dress look fantastic together, and jotted down the combo for future wear.

This outfit proves WendyB’s Never is the Next New Thing theory, as I have been a bona-fide pastel hater for EONS. And now look at me. I mean, they’re not exactly pale, washed-out pastels, but still! Head to toe! Never would’ve thunk it.

I think these qualify for the “new” pastels, which are much brighter than previous. Definitely much more flattering universally. The cut and color of that blazer are just incredible. Excellent thrifted find.

Ah, curse you, fabulous M. Kors sandals, for having 5″ heels! (Really cute though, and great price). Love your bright bag.

I got the bedspread in that same pattern when Liberty of London was doing their Target collaboration! . . .so, while that’s a super cute outfit, I can’t help but look at it and see a little Von Trapp family realness :)

Oh Sal, I love this look soo much! It’s so fresh, perfect for any summer activity.

I’m on the hunt for a beautiful blazer in a bright colour [that's available in plus sizes and ships to Germany] – yours looks so fantastic!

I hate pastels too, but you look fantastic. So, that’s that opinion revised.

You make this combo look so fun! I love the slightly chunkier, funky shoe with the pretty florals.

You look SO GOOD Sal! Oh my gosh, this outfit is a winner. The dress is darling, of course, because it’s Liberty and the blazer is the PERFECT shape and color and then you add that bag? I just love it all, ok? You look ladylike and funky at the same time.
