Already Pretty outfit featuring cropped denim jacket, lavender v neck, pink tulle skirt, Tsubo Acrea, stretch bracelets

Seriously, people. I knew I had to own this skirt the moment I clapped eyes upon it at the thrift store, but I never would’ve guessed that it could be so versatile. Especially since this froofy pink skirt has proven so challenging!

In this outfit, I wanted to pit the over-the-top frilliness of the skirt against some dressed-down staples. In addition to a fun mix of pieces, I loved the silhouette created by the full skirt, fitted tee and cropped jacket. Oh, and giant skull earrings with a tulle skirt? Such a playful juxtaposition.

Oooh I just love this look, Sal! My wish list includes a cropped denim jacket. Actually I think every jacket I purchase from now on should be cropped. Such great waist-accentuaters!

I grow more smitten with that skirt each time you wear it!

I bought a tulle skirt a few months ago but the length is longer than I like so haven’t worn it yet. I know it’ll be pricey, but this ensemble is so inspiring I may just bite the bullet have it shortened.

How is it made? And how comfortable are you with a pair of scissors? Tulle won’t fray, so you may just be able to chop it off yourself (if you’re brave enough!)

I love that skirt, too, and your outfit is visual proof that so-called “fancy” pieces can be styled in more casual ways as well. Your skirt looks fabulous in this casual outfit, and it also looked great in the more “dressy” ways you’ve worn it in the past. Now, where can I get a skirt just like it? :-)

I love your blog and look forward to both your articles and your outfit posts. Yours is definitely one of my must-read blogs each and every day!

I love mixing frothy with denim – it’s such a fun, surprising look. Have you told us before where you acquired that great silver “crown” ring?

I would think I’d died and gone to heaven if a skirt like that ever crossed my path. Your pink skirt posts are some of my fave.

Sal, surely you have an easier time styling the tulle skirt than the tiered pink one because of the silhouette? Full skirts are right in your wheelhouse, after all. :)

That jacket is an ideal length and cut for you; it’s seriously flattering. And of course, you know how I feel about tulle skirts!
