This Week I Love …

Fab.com.

Sample sale sites are grand. They are. But half the time you STILL can’t afford the designer stuff they’ve rustled up and marked down, and everything else is either picked-over or of questionable quality.

But Fab.com isn’t exactly a sample sale site. This marvelous little corner of the Internet offers daily sales on artisan-designed jewelry, clothing, accessories, home goods, edibles, artwork, and vintage items at up to 70% off retail. Many of the designers also have Etsy shops, and I’ve seen a few of my favorite vendors pop up on the Fab radar, but others hail from all over the world. Many of my local Twin Cities artisan friends have been featured and say the site has been a great help to their businesses. Contributing vendors create everything from handcrafted leather bags to blown glass jewelry to handknit scarves to hilarious screenprinted tees to quilts made of recycled saris.

IT IS SO COOL.

If you’re not already a member of the site, click here to sign up. You’ll love it. Promise.

  • I joined, thanks, and I’m having fun browsing. The art prints are great, as is some of the furniture.

I also love Fab and have bought a few home items and some gifts from the site. They have a great selection of interesting items you might not find otherwise.

There isn’t one day that goes by that I DON’T want something on that website!!!

  • Caro

Unfortunately, Fab.com does not ship internationally.

Oh no. I joined a few days ago when I read this and have already ordered a lamp. I’m waiting for a sale later this week of Uzbek home decor and fabrics for a friend’s birthday. I may need a second job!

  • The problem with Fab.com is it’s too good. I had to turn off the sale notices from my phone app because they were so tempting!
