Insomniac Sale Picks: V-necked Cardigans

*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*

Bubu requested a few picks for v-necked cardigans, so here we go:

Old Navy Perfect Cardigan – was $24.94, now $22
Plus 20% off with code ONSAVE20

This 100% cotton cardigan is as basic as it gets, but my Old Navy sweaters have all held up remarkably well so I’m hoping this one will prove equally sturdy. Available in this cobalt, kelly green, turquoise, black and white. Most colors are available in sizes XS – L, with patchy availability for XL and XXL. Also available in tall sizes.

Jones New York Collection V-Neck Cardigan – was $129, now $60.99

A bit pricier, but with good reason: This cardigan is an 85% silk, 15% cashmere blend. Yum! There are several other Jones New York v-necked cardigans on sale over at 6pm, but I zeroed in on this one because it had the best size availability, and because that vibrant turquoise is a great bet for spring and summer wear. Available in sizes S- XL.

Halogen Boxy V-Neck Cardigan – was $68, now $39.90

This is a juniors version of boxy, so depending on your figure you may see only a slight slouch. The regular sizes are 22″ long from shoulder to hem. The material is slightly sheer, which makes it a fun option for warm weather wear. Available in this hot pink, turquoise, oatmeal, pumpkin, purple, dusty navy, butter yellow, and a dusty mauve in sizes XS – XL.

Other not-currently-on-sale resources for v-necked cardigans:

  1. Mango – This store consistently stocks several styles of basic, v-necked cardigans, including cropped and striped. All options are under $40 full price.
  2. Old Navy – Yeah, I know I already highlighted this vendor earlier in this post, but I’ve gotta give Old Navy credit for an abundance of v-necked cardigans. Plus sized, cropped, petite, tall, open, buttoned … all available at affordable prices.
  3. Eddie Bauer – Another champ of sizing, this vendor typically offers petite, tall and regular sizing from XS through XXL. This style is a great bet.

  • Loz

I adore that pink! How about bamboo fabric cardigans / jumpers?

    • Sal

Loz, I’ll keep my eyes peeled for this one but as of right now, cannot find a selection of affordable bamboo sweaters that are both on sale and available in a decent run of sizes. I can’t find many at all, actually! Gaiam seems to be the main source. I’ll keep your request in my back pocket.

  • I’m really liking the Eddie B. cotton/linen cardigan you highlighted – thanks!

  • I just bought several cardigans just like these on clearance at Target for $18…definitely worth scouring the sale racks there!
How about swimsuits for pear-shapes, or making a larger lower body look lovely in a swimsuit?
