Insomniac Sale Picks: Solid, V-neck Sweaters

*In this late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*

Villanelle requested a few picks for solid, v-neck sweaters, so here we go:

Prana Chenille V-Neck – was $70, now $55.99

This sweater has some detailing that makes it slightly un-basic – shoulder and size seams that give it a slightly sporty feel. But crafted from plush chenille, it’ll feel luxurious and warm. And it’s machine washable! Available in black and winter white in sizes XS – XL.

Lole Ginger Sweater – was $75, now $41.99

With fun details like button-back cuffs and notch detailing at the v-neck, this Lole sweater is a great option. It’s got a slightly long, slim fit so will be ideal for pants and jeans ensembles. Available in this rich red and a taupe-y gray, sizes XS – L.

Cutter & Buck – Legend Supima Cotton V-Neck – was $72, now $21.99

This is the most basic of the v-necks I was able to find, and I looked for AGES! Basics can be so tough to track down. In any case, this version features ribbed trim at the cuff, hem, and neckline for a classic appeal. Available in this pink, powder blue, pale green, black, and navy in sizes XS, M, L, and XL.

Other not-currently-on-sale resources for solid v-neck sweaters:

  1. Mango – At $19.99, this one might as well be on sale. More options on the Mango site, too.
  2. Land’s End – A standby source for basics, especially great cotton sweaters.
  3. Target – Not exactly glamorous, but this superstore nearly always stocks basics, including v-neck sweaters.

How about spring tops for flat-chested apples. Bascially, I’m all stomach.

Wow, that Cutter and Buck sweater is perfect. I love that simple shape and it looks like it would be more figure-hugging on someone with a larger chest.

I love Lands’ End V-neck sweaters (I am right on the line between misses and plus size, and their XL tops fit me really well.) They last and are terrific basics for someone like me, who has fairly conservative taste.

    What about cashmere non-jumper items?
