It’s been a trying couple of weeks, my friends. So Husband Mike and I were just thrilled to spend a few days in San Francisco visiting Audi last week. We met LPC and Chelsea, shopped, ate, and chilled. OK, there wasn’t much chilling. We saw Bliss Dance, attended Bar Bot, visited the Academy of Sciences, and spent some time in Muir Woods. You see me in the woods above, comfy as can be in my flat boots and Karina dress. Tired as we were, we opted for the manicured walkways and skipped the actual hiking!

Didn’t you just love the live roof on the Academy of Sciences building? Reminds me of a Teletubbies set.
We didn’t get up there, but I fell in LOVE with the aquarium. And the rainforest. And the fountain. It’s pretty much amazing there.
Well dang, I knew I should have figured out a way to go to Bar Bot! One of my oldest friends was competing, but I dithered about getting tix. If I’d know I could have stalked *two* of my fave. bloggers in person, well, that would have pushed me over the edge

I love Muir Woods. It’s one of my favorite places on the face of the earth. Point Reyes is lovely, too. The topography is just so different from the midwest or even the east coast. Glad you had a good trip!
