Much as I loved my now-departed Frye Engineer boots, I’m digging this slouchy style even more. These are by an Italian brans called Loft that has nothing to do with the Ann Taylor subsidiary, and I scored these for $65 on Yoox. They’re even cheaper now! I haven’t worn them for more than three hours of casual walking, but thus far they seem comfy and sturdy. Definitely a bargain.

Yes! I love these boots! In fact, I ordered my own pair when you mentioned them in a previous post. You’re right – such a bargain for $65! I’ve worn them all day for teaching, and found them comfortable in a super-sturdy way (not in a cushy way). But my feet felt fine in them! Highly recommended!
Oooh, I recently bought shoes *just* like those in black! But I still haven’t discovered a good outfit for them – I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what you wear them with!
As an engineer, I must say that if engineers actually wore boots like this, my job would be a lot more awesome than it already is.
