These distressed Frye Vera Slouch boots were a birthday gift to myself, and they’ve gotten loads of wear since their arrival. They’re fantastically comfortable, with a a sturdy heel and flexible sole, and I love how they add an edge to virtually any look. They are actually a but more beaten-up than I’d ideally like, so I might see how they take to a little leather conditioner.
Worn here.

I love these but not convinced I’d wear them enough to justify the price.
How do these differ from the Veronicas? Higher heel?
Those are some pretty awesome boots. Last year my major fall expenditure was on a leather jacket. Next year I think I will save my pennies for a pair of Fryes. I love how distressed they look. We used to have a joke when I lived in the mountains that you should never wear your new Sorrels until you dragged them behind your truck for at least a month.
I love how you’ve made them work with so many different looks already. Such fabulous boots. I am a huge fan of Frye boots. I don’t think there are enough companies out there that do stylish and comfortable simultaneously.
These were on sale at 6pm.com a few days ago for $149 (black color)! They’re sold out now, but there are still some colors at a bit over $200 now. I wish they would had my size (and I had some extra cash). I’ve never seen them for that price before.
Said it before, say it again: Can’t go wrong with Frye!
I love my Frye boots. Just seeing them in my closet makes me feel a little giddy inside. I don’t wear them as often as I should, but I also feel okay about that – they are boots I’ll have for…well…forever because they are so well made. They’re totally my investment boots!
Wow, glad I saw that…a rolled up magazine in boots?? I bought the Veronica Slouch (my first Fryes) last month and had no clue how to store them. Thanks!
