*In this new late-night feature – which will run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week – I’ll gather up three fun items that are currently on sale online and share them with you! I would LOVE suggestions: Stylish wide-width pumps? Classic v-necked sweaters? Chandelier earrings? Petite dress slacks? What would you like to see featured?*
b. requested a few picks for warm sweaters that work for folks who can’t wear wool and cashmere, so here we go:
Gap Geometric Print Cardigan – was $69.95, now $27.99
PLUS an additional 20% off with code GAPSALE
This waterfall cardigan is nylon and acrylic, and has a relaxed, oversized fit. Although it may look light or mid-weight, I’ve found that this style of cardigan is quite cozy, mainly due to the collar: Maybe it’s just me, but when my neck is covered, I’m FAR warmer. So shawl collars keep me toastier than crews or Vs. Also comes in a navy print, which is available through XXL.
Lauren Jeans Co. Kanu Marled Knit Turtleneck – was $99.50, now $67.99
Available in red and blue marl in addition to this gray, this toasty turtleneck has classic styling and a warm design without loads of bulk. It’s a cotton/synthetic blend and sold from size XS to XL.
ASOS Sweater with Pussy Bow – was $63.63, now $30
This darling, 100% cotton sweater is a fine gauge knit, which is another of my favorites for both keeping cozy. Looser knits let the breeze through, but a close weave like this blocks the wind. With another style of high neckline for upper body warmth and the option to layer, this bright, fun pick will be chic and versatile.
Other not-currently-on-sale resources for non-wool/cashmere sweaters:
- Mango – Dozens of darling sweaters in cotton blends and synthetics.
- Old Navy – In my experience, Old Navy seldom offers wool and never cashmere. A great source for alternate options.
- And, of course, THRIFT STORES! Just check those tags for fiber content. (thethriftshopper.com can help you locate stores near you.)
