See, I TOLD you I was going to live in these Prairie Underground hoodies forever and ever. At least I’m switching between the red and pink ones.

I forgot to take a detail shot of my tee. It says, “Minnesota Babe” with a drawing of Paul Bunyan’s trusty ox companion.

Aaaaand since I’m clearly in love with some of my new garments, here’s the olive green Gap jacket from last week’s casual roundup. It’s such a great lightweight, spring-transitional outer layer. Which isn’t to say I didn’t wear my down parka over it … because I’ve given up on willing warm weather to arrive through my dressing choices.

  • that red coat is fabulous! and i need to see this tee, because it sounds pretty amazing!

  • But wait, I see melting snow! Doesn’t that mean it’s warming up??

  • The red dress is really cute…you always have such cute tights as well!

  • Woohoo, camo leggings. They rock!

  • I would live in those hoodies too. They’re amazingly adorable, and I’m assuming probably feel like pjs.

  • Every time you post an outfit with that red hoodie I get the green eyed envy bug. 🙂

What kind of fabric is that hoodie cloak made out of? Is it sweatshirt fleece or more like a interlock or jersey? The price on those is high for me, but I’m betting I can make myself something similar.

Sweatshirt fleece. Fairly flat but loopy terry-like texture on the interior.

Thanks! That’s super helpful. I have a basic hoodie pattern and with a few modifications I think I can create something similar.

They grey ($193) and oatmeal ($169) ones are on sale right now Sal!

  • Oh my goodness I am in LOVE with that red hoodie/coat! I can completely understand why you would live in it–I would too!

  • I just purchased that cropped top from the gap and I love it. It is super comfy. Only problem is that I just met with my new stylist and she told me that short tops are out for me…now what to do with all my fabulous clothes?

    🙂

May I ask what size you have in the hoodie? I am madly in love with the red, but I still covet it enough to go for navy … and none of the models described have measurements even remotely close to mine. Thanks!!

    • Sal

      Sure, I take a medium!
