Jeffrey Campbell X-ray boot from top

Jeffrey Campbell X-ray

Reading dozens of style blogs every single day has its risks. Many of them shopping-related. I saw these boots on Audi about a year ago, and absolutely swooned. Jeffrey Campbell had already done several shoes with this metal-plated wedge, but most were open-toed or sandal-y. When I clapped eyes on these killer X Ray booties, it was pure love.

Of course, they’re not exactly the most versatile shoes in the world. So they qualify as a splurge. But such a fun and funky splurge.

OHHHH MYYY those definitely appeal to my novel side LOVE LOVE I can’t wait to see what you put with them and please share if they are comfy and hard to walk in. They look like they would be hard to walk in ; however, that fact have never deterred me from getting something I like :) HUGE THUMBS UP!!

OMG! In the words of Rachel Zoe – I die. They are the winter version of my Clinics (http://www.mycapaciousbottega.com/2010/07/warriors-arise-pt1.html)

Must not do anything silly….must avoid SoleStruck…must avoid Already Pretty!

Great score! They are so aggressively beautiful and I cannot wait to see what you team them with :)

Those are so awesome! I agree with you on the choices of the metal wedges. I’m not an open toe kind of gal, so I was relieved when I saw the X-rays and the Exam.

I have been seriously lusting after these boots since Audi first got them. I couldn’t decide between the Meds, Brits, and X Rays though.

Are your X Rays high quality and comfortable? I’ve read very mixed reviews about JC quality, and for the price, I don’t want to be wrong.

The pair I nabbed are a bit too small for me, so my opinion will be a bit skewed … but I have several other pairs of JCs and think the quality is superb. The only feedback I’d give is that the leathers they use are SO soft that they sometimes feel TOO soft. A little insubstantial, and I worry about marring the leather.
