Casual Outfit Roundup: Week of October 3

I felt comfy and chic in this monochrome gray outfit. And triumphant, too! Both the cardigan and tunic have been challenging pieces for me, and I think they worked quite well together.

Simon and Rowan supervise most of our just-outside-the-front-door shoots. Without their vigilance, things would quickly fall to pieces, believe me.
Knit moto, The Mexican Shop
Black dress, Amazon
Printed leggings, Hue via Nordstrom Rack
Foldover booties, Aldo

I truly adore my leather moto, but this knit one is far cozier. And it’s a great match for these leopard-print leggings. Rockity roll!

Those Tsubo boots are gorgeous. Could you tell me what the measurement around the top is? I have issues with large calfs, and hate to buy boots only to find I can't zip them up. Thanks.

Barbara: Unfortunately, they have a pretty narrow opening – about 14". They've got a wide elastic panel, so if you're more in the 15" range they might still work … but much more than that and I'm not as sure.

I know you recently posted about being flexible in your style and I have to say that lately you have really been branching out. It has been fun to see you in different styles and silhouettes but that still say "Sal" to me.

Love how you and Simon are wearing matching outfits in the first photo. I think Ro is feeling left out. You need a tortoise-shell printed top or something!

I love these leggings/boots combos you've been pulling off, and those foldover booties make me swoon. You look great, lady!

Great garment/colour coordinating in the grey outfit- and those Tsubo boots have a lovely light,dance-y space-age feel- but in the absence of bike-short leggings or an underskirt, I'm not a fan of the tunic length.

Aw your kitties are too cute!

I adore both these looks, but that second one is so super cool. The leggings add the perfect touch to your rocker vibe.

I love that you totally ROCK the leopard print leggings in this post! I think those are something I'd be intimidated by but secretly curious about if I saw them in the store, and I think you found the perfect way to style them.
