Daily Outfit: 7/29/10

Pink slub cotton tee, thrifted
Brown skirt, The Mexican Shop, shortened
Silk scarf, Echo Design
Bronze peeptoes, Bandolino via 6pm
Bracelet, Fossil via Herberger’s

This is, in fact, a different brown skirt than the one I wore yesterday. It must be Unintentional Brown Skirt Week or something.

What is it about a silk square knotted close that SCREAMS “French lady”?

And that’s all I’ve got. Been kinda sick all week and I think the germs have finally reached my brain …

That pink top is very flattering on you, and it looks great with the brown.

Love this look! I love the scarf. I need to start owning that look. I always feel silly whenever I try it out. I need to just Go For It.

Feel better soon.

You're screaming "fun" and "springy" in addition to "french lady", and I love it!

I'm so sorry to hear you're not feeling well, Sal! That shade of pink is the perfect color, though, since it's vibrant and fresh. I love it paired with brown, and with the chic scarf and gorgeous shoes (I can't get enough of thick-heeled shoes recently – I love those).

Hope you're feeling 100% very soon!

You look great! We were almost twinkies, complete with cute heels, neutral skirt, pinky top, and close-tied silk scarf. Must have been the right day for it.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

I don’t even know if you’ll see a comment from this post since it’s an old post, but I searched your site for the word “bronze” for help! I am wearing a gorgeous chocolate brown and teal paisley (spelling?) to a wedding with a crochet chocolate brown shrug that has bit of metallic in the thread. I was stuck on shoes and don’t have time to go shopping so I bought a pair of bronze sandals on 6pm.com. When they came in I had total second thoughts about the chocolate brown with the bronze shoes b/c the bronze is a much different shade than I realized. Online it looked almost as dark as the brown in my dress but in person it’s more like your shoes in this post.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Now that I’ve seen your brown skirt with your bronze shoes I realize it would look weird to be all matchy matchy anyway. I knew I could come here and find what I needed!
