Sunday Shoes: Born Tessa Boots

by Sally on March 7, 2010 · 11 comments

You guys have GOT to be sick of seeing these boots by now. They’ve gotten mucho wear since I bought them this fall, and are both my comfiest and my warmest boots. My feet actually sweat in these if it’s too warm out.

While I will pine eternally for a pair of Fiorentini and Baker Eternity boots, these lovelies are definitely more in my price range and a damn fine substitute.

Ah, the well loved practical aka warm boot! I love how you've used mags to keep the shape. Never thought of that!

Once you find boots you love you should wear them to the ground…then get them resoled and do it all over again! They really are nice looking boots :)

I've been loving your Born Tessa boots all winter. They have a nice mix of casual and edgy with those buckles.

I adore these boots and I'm dying for a pair, but can't find them in my size anywhere. So frustrating!

Ha, I put magazines in my boots to keep them upright, too!

These boots inspired me to go looking for a pair much more affordable for me…& I am wearing them into the ground!

Do these do okay in rain/snow?

They’re definitely not snow boots and I wouldn’t recommend puddle-jumping in them … but they don’t leak and I have worn them on plowed snow. The version I have is suede and absorbs moisture and salt, though, so I’m cautious.
