Polka dot cropped jacket, Opitz Outlet
Black tee, Banana Republic, remixed
Quilted skirt, eBay, remixed
Red tights, Hue, remixed
Black Tsubo Acreas, remixed
Faux Pearl earrings, McFarland Designs, remixed
Faux Pearl bracelets, self-made, remixed

I bought this little jacket just yesterday, and although I seldom wear new items right after purchasing them, I couldn’t resist. And I love how the polka dots work with the quilting on this vintage skirt.

Gorgeous all together, and I just MUST have those shoes. I am adding them to my wish list for sure! The polka dots do look great with the ladylike skirt.

Sal, this is a STUNNING shape for you. You look absolutely killah.

Oh, and I never wear new things right away either. There's something even more satisfying about making yourself wait.

That is freakin' adorable, Sal! You look so cute in cropped jackets (they make me look mondo-boobed). The red tights are inspired.

How cute are you?! I love your red stockings – they add the perfect festive pop of color!

And I usually give my new clothes some "breathing time" too! That's so funny.

Super-fabulous outfit! That quilted skirt is awesome.

How can you not wear new things right away? I live in dread of being one of those people hiding things with tags still on in the closet months after buying, and I wear new things ASAP! Gotta make sure they really fit in with my wardrobe, and that they don't do anything horrible like prickle or ride up in use.

Any time I don't wear something right off and leave it in the bag with the tags, I can usually deduct that I am in fact ambivalent about it in my secret heart, and will wind up taking it back for a refund.
