Red drape-front cardi, gift from my momRed tee, AA overdyed by me
Floral corduroy skirt, Boden a million years ago
Magenta tights, Target
Brown boots, Nine West a million years ago
I am going to attempt to wear this drape-front cardi in as many ways as I can. It's ridiculously versatile, super comfy, and fun to play with. I can even tie its ends around Husband Mike when I hug him. A two-person garment!
Asymmetric blazer, TulleLight gray sheath dress, thrifted
Lavender tights, Banana Republic last year
Tall gray boots, Aldo last year
Earrings, Karin Jacobson
I thought about pairing gray tights with this extremely neutral ensemble, but opted for the lavender at the last minute. Maybe that makes it a bit more spring than fall, but oh well.
Also I believe this is the first self-portrait I've posted. Dark, ain't it?
Giant houndstooth scarf, thrifted in SFBlack 3/4-length leather coat, Wilson's
Gray tunic, Tulle
Black leggings, Target
Black Tsubo Kison boots
As you already know, I am IN LOVE with these boots. So I'll leave it at that. My full-length leggings were dirty on this day, so I'm actually wearing my cropped ones. There was a lot of aggravating riding-up and clandestine pulling-down throughout the day. And yes, I wore the coat all day. The outfit looked WAY better with it on.

Black sweater bolero, Ann Taylor last year
Red sheath dress, Talbots last year
Crappy black opaque tights, Wish I knew so I could complain about their crappiness
Black Tsubo Acreas

Black Tsubo Acreas
This outfit is really, REALLY simple but I felt classic and elegant in it. And yes, I have this exact same sheath dress in magenta. My awesome gran gave me one for Hanukkah and one for my birthday last year.

The sheath dress looks perfect on you! The shape, the cut, the fit; love it. I think that's my favorite outfit of the week :)
the black coat/boot outfit would be perfect for today here in the rain... :)
Genius with the color combo as always, love that first outfit with the tights, boots and pops of color!
I think the drapey cardi and the asymetric blazer are my favorites. And that red sheath dress looks fab on you!
I do love that sheath dress - every time you wear it it looks fresh! And in the first photo (on the right) you look just like a statue in a park :-)

Wow, the asymmetric blazer, the color of it+skirt look so good on you!
I love the sheath dress. I often wear a bolero over tank tops, dresses, their uses are endless for transitioning a summer outfit into more weather appropriate!
these are all lovely! I think the second might be my favorite, but it's so hard to choose.
I love your outfit posts.

You are so lucky I don't live anywhere near you, cause if I did, I would totally steal your entire closetful of clothing and shoes.
Hi - I was just referred to your blog by another reader, and I'm hooked! I don't know if you've mentioned it before, but do you know where that red drape cardigan came from? I LOVE it!
Tricia: Welcome! That cardi was a gift from my mom, and it's from a shop in Evanston, IL, called Coucou.
That Tulle blazer is too hot--& love what you're wearing it with.
Who doesn't love a two-person garment! How cool. :)
