Ahhh, my beloved spectator pumps. When I’m feeling my most sex kittenish, these babies are my go-to shoes. I can’t hardly wear them if there isn’t a pencil skirt and fitted cashmere sweater involved. Oh, and pearls, Loads of ‘em.
After a good two dozen wears, I’m still breaking these in. Much moleskin must be applied to make them tolerable. But they’re totally worth it.

Hmm, I'm not a fan of these. I find the shape just isn't quite right. Maybe if they had a round toe, showed a bit more toe cleavage, and had a curvier heel.

You had me looking at the Fluevog website the other day and there are some AWESOME boots.
They are fab but I'd have given up by now if they hurt in any way. They would look fabulous with Oxford bags.

I feel like I am missing an essential fashion gene and I must confess it to you. I have honestly tried and tried, but I do not like Fluevog shoes, with exception of some of the boots (the camel colored beauties and Audi's latest pair are pretty fantastic). But I find that the non-boots are so esthetically unpleasing to me. WHAT is wrong with me? I love your style and that of your friend, Audi's, but just can't do Fluevogs.
Anonymous: Haha! You're not missing an essential fashion gene at all. Fluevogs are highly stylized shoes, and they are NOT for everyone. I love chunky heels and rounded toes and retro influences, so they ring my chimes. But many shoe lovers absolutely LOATHE them. Like, all of them. Ever.
