Sunday Shoes: Steve Madden leopard print wedges

I can't exactly remember when I snapped these up, but they were a cheapie impulse buy. $19.99, if memory serves. They're one of my few pairs that serve up the ever-controversial toe cleavage, and I love them for it.

The exterior is dyed pony hair, and these reside in one of the cloth pockets of my over-the-door shoe rack from Ikea ... so whenever I want to wear them, I spend several minutes and several gobs of saliva stroking the hairs back into place. Otherwise they look like I've been rubbing them the wrong way against a stucco wall. Was that TMI? Sorry.

Can't wait to put these back into rotation ... hurry UP, spring!

The commitment us girls have to our shoes! Spit-smoothing them - a classic! hehe.

Only teasing, btw!

Seriously, this shoe is perfect. It's got beauty, brains and sex appeal. If you ever give it away, I want it, ok

And, hilariously, my word verification is crankles.

This is a good looking shoe. I recently bought a pair of 'leopard print' shoes from target and funnily enough they are comfortable, very afforadable and look (almost ;))as good as these!

Love them, I totally hear ya on the spring cannot come fast enough. I'm desperately awaiting warmer weather to wear my spring and summer shoes.

I'm still looking for my perfect leopard print shoes, yours are perfect.

SASSY! And you KNOW how much I love me some sassy shoes. :)

I must find myself some animal-print shoes... I am sort of ashamed to admit that I have absolutely ZERO animal-print items in my closet.

I love some toe cleavage and I'm not afraid to spit on my shoes too.

Those shoes are AMAZING! My leopard print wedges are a half size too big, and that just makes me sad.

Love them..

I´ll make an exception about your shoes. They look ok. Normally I don´t understand why leopard print is so popular in the states. Here in Europe it is considered a bit too sexy and provocative. The russians favor it too.

Wow, toe cleavage is controversial... I had no idea. The shoes are very cute and I just emailed you regarding the giveaway :)

Woof! It's a gorgeous shoe (they would be so cute with a pencil skirt!) but I've never had a shoe that required stroking before use! The things one does for beauty, though. :)

I love pony hair, sensible wedges and leopard print in small doses, which makes these absolutely perfect. Although I would personally consider this a fall/winter shoe rather than a spring one, I really can't tell since I don't leave in Minneapolis, so I don't risk freezing my tootsies off while wearing these suckers instead of boots. And does my taste for serious toe cleavage make a weirdo?

stoke away...I have jeans that would match them perfectly.
